Overview: Establishing a new national nuclear laboratory to be operated as a government owned, contractor operated (GOCO) company.
Headlines: Wallace Walker provided a range of business analysis services to support the initial stages of the setting up of a new government owned company called the National Nuclear Laboratory. Working with the NDA, we helped formulate the business case for the proposed new entity, and provided a range of business analysis services to support what was planned as a two-stage transition to a GOCO business model. Our work also involved assessing opportunities for international collaboration for the use by third parties of the UK technologies and facility.

Duration: Jun 06 - Mar 07 (10 months).
Measure of success: Outline Business Case received Ministerial approval, enabling the project to progress to the next stage.
